Not reforming itself and keeping its tradition of showing disrespect towards women alive, police in Pattoki punched a woman, registered an FIR against her and even tried to crush her under their van when she came in front of the vehicle in a bid to secure the release of her husband from their custody, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
As per the FIR registered under sections related to hurling threats and interfering in official duty, the police were taking a man, who had been arrested following a clash with rivals over a piece of land when the woman came in front of the van, punched its bonnet, threw her dupatta at the vehicle and shouted abuses at the cops.
Unfortunately, a male, not a woman, was assigned the task to interrogate the woman.
