Unidentified persons shot dead a young man over free-will marriage issue in Haji Latif Shah area of Shikarpur on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police sources said that the 24-year-old deceased who was identified as Farooq Kamboh was son of a policeman namely Qaim Din Kamboh who is currently deputed at Lakhi Dar Police Station in Shikarpur.

Local police shifted the dead body of the young man to Civil Hospital to complete necessary procedures.

The father of the victim said that he has no enmity with anyone and still unaware about the facts that led to his son’s brutal murder.

Police sources said that the deceased young man married to a girl of his own choice which may be a reason behind this gruesome murder.

Police team after collecting all the evidence from crime scene started investigation.

Unidentified persons torch dead body in Mehar

Some unidentified persons set ablaze a dead body in the jurisdiction of Police Station Section B area in Mehar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Later the unidentified persons threw the dead body into a heap of garbage and fled from the scene.

The local residents of the area after noticing the fire tried to bring it under control but the dead body was burnt by 40 percent.

The identify of the dead body still unknown. The Mehar police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ).
