Chinese ‘HONOR’ introduces smartphones with 200mp Eccentric cameras

Beating other companies, Chinese smartphone maker ‘Honor’ introduced the highly costly smartphones ‘Honor 90’ and ‘Honor 90 Pro’ with Eccentric Cameras with 200-megapixel main and 50-megapixel front sensors.
Now Honor has become the first company to simultaneously offer 200-megapixel main cameras on two mobile phones.
It is also being claimed by the company that both the new smartphones of the company, Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro, are better than the competitive Apple and Samsung phones.
Details of Honor 90
Display
On the forefront of vanilla-Honor lies a captivating 6.7-inch OLED display. Adorned with a sharp 2664 x 1200 pixels resolution, the screen showcases a palette of 1 billion colours. It also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and proudly retains a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.
Colours
The phone is available in 3 colours including Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Diamond Sliver. However, the Diamond Silver version can only be bought from the HONOR website.
Battery and Chip
Underneath the vanilla Honor-90’s hood resides the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It draws power from a 5000mAh battery rated for 66W charging compatibility.
Memory
The memory hub on board has multiple configurations, 12/256 GB, 16/256 GB, and the highest end, 16/512 GB.
Selfie Camera
On the front, the Honor 90 has the same 50 MP f/2.4 selfie camera as the Pro variant; meanwhile, on the rearing end lies a 200 MP primary sensor, coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP depth sensor.

Display
Among its intriguing specs is a 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED panel with soft curves on the sides and a pill-shaped cutout on the forehead.
Screen Resolution
The screen has a 2700 x 1224p resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and over 1,000 nits of brightness. Centred in the cutout are two selfie shooters, 50MP-main and 2MP depth.
Battery and Chip
At the pinnacle of Honor’s latest series is the Honor 90 Pro which boasts a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Drawing power from a 5000mAh battery, the phone impresses with a 90W charging hub capable of refilling 56% of the cell in 15 minutes.

With three storage options (12+256GB / 16 +256GB / 16+512GB) and four attractive colours (Silver, Black, Green, and Ice Feather Blue).

The company is quite confident about the performance of the Honor 90 which will be available in the UK for the RRP of £449.99 for 8GB + 256GB and £499.99 for 12GB + 512GB.
