Punjab Police bring back suspected murderer from Oman

Punjab Police have nailed a murderer suspect from Oman with the help of Interpol, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Muhammad Asif was wanted to the Sialkot police for murder a year ago and had fled top Oman. The Punjab police had a red notice issued against Asif with the help of Interpol and handed him over to Sialkot authorities for further action.
IG Punjab Usman Anwar appreciated the team arresting dangerous criminals as Asif’s arrest added to a total of 97 arrests made from abroad.
Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police Usman Anwar directed to gear up for bringing the criminals wanted for murder, robbery and other serious crimes to book. He said that the perpetrators should brought to justice with the help of Interpol and FIA and should be punished severely. The passports of the criminals fled away should be cancelled and the Regional and District Police Officers should report regularly about the arrests made abroad to the Central Police Office.
