Refunding of train tickets due to delays, lack of facilities surged

Rate of refunding of train tickets by passengers has increased due to lack of facilities and hours of delay in trains, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to data collected from Pakistan Railways, in the first 14 days of October, about 16834 passengers got their tickets refunded.
Data says passengers refunded as many as Rs41426517 from railway fund.
Moreover, the refund rate of tickets through e-ticketing is the highest.
Sources said that due to the delay of hours in the trains, the tickets were refunded by the passengers.
