Stressing the need for the provincial governments to work together for the progress of Pakistan, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Tuesday that it would be better to think about the wellbeing of the country rather than putting others in jails, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Speaking to reporters in Sukkur, he said he was not bothered about whether the PTI had given a call for a civil disobedience movement or not. “I am busy in my work. And all my attention is focused on it,” he added. 

The chief minister said that if somebody was given a job on the quota reserved for the special people, he would be fired. 

He said that the case of building a canal on Sindh’s water was presently pending in the Council of Common Interests (CII). 

CM Murad claimed that recruitments were being made in the education department on merit.

On the operation against dacoits in the katcha area of the province, he said many of them had been eliminated. 

He went on to say that he had given instructions for buildings roads and hospitals in the areas cleared from dacoits. 

Sindh CM welcomed by robot 

Earlier, the chief minister visited the Institute of Business Administration, Sukkur where among others, he was welcomed by a robot.
