PML-N President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed this year's Pakistan Super League.

In a statement, Shehbaz said that during his tenure as prime minister Nawaz Sharif took concrete steps and planned a far reaching way forward to flourish local and international sports in Pakistan. He said it were those steps and measures taken by the PML-N Quaid that are now reaping benefits for the country.

He said the Nawaz government built new sports stadiums along modern lines with state-of-the-art facilities.

Shehbaz said all possible arrangements must be made for the security and facilitation of foreign players participating in the PSL.

Shehbaz said he expects the best matches and nail biting thrillers of this year's PSL to come good to the expectations of the eagerly awaiting cricket enthusiasts.
