KP father, daughter get PhD degrees on same day

A father-daughter duo of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has obtained PhD degree from the Peshawar Engineering University on the same day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Assistant Professor at the University of Peshawar’s Engineering Department Dr Masood Khan got his PhD degree in Mechatronics, while his daughter Dr Nadia Masood was awarded a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
Dr Masood, on the occasion, said that he could not complete his PhD on time due to some domestic challenges but finally he made it and felt honoured to get the PhD degree with his daughter.
On her part, Dr Nadia said that his father supported her all through the PhD degree completion.
