Islamabad United notch crucial 5-wicket win over Zalmi in 2nd eliminator

Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi by five wickets in the second eliminator match of HBL PSL season nine at National Bank Cricket Stadium Karachi on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Thanks to Imad Wasim and Haider Ali’s blitz, Islamabad United chased the target of 186 runs to qualify for the final.
Imad Wasim scored 59 off 40 balls with 9 fours while Haider Ali scored 52 runs off 29 balls with 5 sixes and two fours and both the players remained not out.
Of Peshawar Zalmi, Saim Ayub took two wickets, Luke Wood, Mehran Mumtaz, Khurram Shehzad took one wicket each.
Islamabad United won the toss and decided to bowl first. Peshawar Zalmi posted an 186-run target.
Saim Ayub scored 73 and Mohammad Haris played an innings of 40 runs while Babar Azam scored 25 runs, Tom Kholar Cadmore 18 runs and Romain Powell 2 runs.
Of Islamabad United, Naseem Shah dismissed 3 players.
