The ICC Champions Trophy Sunday continued its journey across cities, reaching Khanpur Dam after traveling from Islamabad and Taxila, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The prestigious trophy, part of the lead-up to the 2025 tournament, was warmly welcomed by a large crowd, including enthusiastic youth and schoolchildren, who gathered to witness the occasion.
At Khanpur Dam, the trophy was showcased in a traditional setting, with a cultural boat ride arranged on the lake, reflecting the region's rich heritage.
Fans eagerly posed for selfies and photos alongside the trophy, adding excitement to the celebration.
Following its stop at Khanpur, the trophy will proceed to Abbottabad (Nov 18), Murree (Nov 19), Nathiagali (Nov 20), and Karachi (Nov 22-25) under the leadership of a PCB delegation.
The tour aims to build anticipation for the upcoming tournament while promoting cricket's spirit across Pakistan.
The silverware, in collaboration with DP World, will journey across the eight participating nations during the tour.
