The International Cricket Council (ICC) has convened a board meeting to discuss matters related to the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
According to sources, the ICC board meeting on November 29 is likely to make important decisions. All board members have been sent agenda for the meeting, which will take place virtually. The board meeting will discuss schedule and future of the Champions Trophy.
As India has now officially refused to participate in the mega cricketing event in Pakistan, the ICC board will discuss the hybrid model of the tournament, its complete shifting from Pakistan or postponement.
The ICC board is likely to go for the hybrid model, which Pakistan has already rejected. The ICC will make the final decision on the Champions Trophy 2025 after the board meeting.
