The wedding ceremony was held at her gigantic 124-acre estate in Westchester County, New York. The event was attended by 300 people in the Muslim ceremony.
Nayel was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1991 to Egyptian parents, Fouad Nassar and Iman Harby. Though, he is raised in Kuwait. His parents are the owners of a firm in Kuwait.
Nassar’s love for riding the horse can be traced back to his early childhood, as Bill Gates’ son in law had the privilege to ride the horse when he was five years old.
Nayel proved his love for the equestrian sport when he won his maiden FEI Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi in 2011.
Nayel had the honour to represent his country at the FEI World Cup Finals in 2013, 2014 and 2017. He also participated in the FEI World Equestrian Games in 2014.
Nassar moved back to his birthplace, the United States in 2009. Nayel is a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Economics, which he earned in 2013.
Interestingly, her wife Jennifer is also a graduate of the same university, however, she completed her graduate degree in 2018 in human biology.
Like her wife, Nassar had a wealthy upbringing. Nassar’s parents bought him his first horse at the age of 10. This helped Nassar to enhance his equestrian skills. His current horse is “Lucifer V”. He also rides in “Redwood”, “Igor”, and “Jiminy Cricket”.
In 2021, Nassar made it to the final of the Tokyo Olympics with no penalties.
Moreover, he is fluent in multiple languages including his natives Arabic, English and French.
In addition to his professional career, Nayel also holds his business, which he started in 2014 in Encinitas.
