Zardari, Bilawal to land in Lahore to hold talks with Nawaz Sharif on constitutional amendments

President Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will land in Lahore today to attend a dinner hosted by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Mian Nawaz Sharif.
According to the 24NewsHD TV Channel, the dinner is expected to be a key political gathering, with discussions focusing on the proposed 26th constitutional amendment.
Presient Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto, alongside Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, will consult Nawaz Sharif regarding the approval process for the constitutional amendments.
As per the channel report, President Asif Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, and JUI Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehmand will seek Nawaz Sharif’s input and cooperation in finalising the legislative changes.
The channel reported that after attending the dinner, the PPP chairman is scheduled to travel to Islamabad to continue his political engagements.
