Summary for hike in Orange Train fare sent to Punjab CM

Following the finance department’s nod, the transport department of the government of Punjab on Thursday forwarded a summary for an increase in the fare of Lahore’s Orange Train to Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi for his approval, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It was suggested in the summary that a passenger should be charged minimum Rs20 and maximum Rs40 depending upon the distance he had covered.
