PTI MNA Alamgir Khan's father also died in Karachi blast

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of National Assembly Alamgir Khan's father was also killed in the blast in Sher Shah area of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV on Saturday.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman lamented the loss of human lives in the blast and confirmed that the father of PTI National Assembly member Alamgir Khan was also among those killed in the blast.
Meanwhile, Member Provincial Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Raja Azhar has said that Alamgir Khan's father had a showroom in Sher Shah Market.
According to details, 14 people were killed and 13 others injured in an explosion of a Sui Gas Line in Sher Shah Area of Karachi.
Head of Trauma Center Sabir Memon said that the bodies of 8 persons killed in Karachi blast and 11 injured were brought to the hospital out of which 4 were in critical condition and later 3 more succumbed to their injuries.
According to a Karachi police spokesman, the blast was initially caused by an exploding gas pipeline which was passing under a drain and the explosion was caused by filling gas in the drain.
It is relevant to mention that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has expressed regret over the loss of life and property in the Karachi blast and demanded a report from Commissioner Karachi.
