CM Maryam accepts invitation to visit Japan

Japanese Ambassador Akamatsu Shuichi met with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Japanese envoy invited Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to visit Japan which she accepted.
The meeting emphasized on promoting mutual relations, trade cooperation, and investment in various sectors.
The meeting also agreed on the need to find new ways to increase economic cooperation between the two countries.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed gratitude for Japan's support during the 2022 floods.
Talking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said Pakistan attached importance to relations with Japan and both countries have deep friendly relations.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said Japan has always supported Pakistan in difficult times and Pakistan is grateful to the Japanese government and people.
All possible facilities and protection will be provided to Japanese investors in Punjab, Maryam Nawaz said.
Maryam Nawaz said we want cooperation with Japan in the sectors of agriculture, minerals, IT, AI, robotics and energy.
The Japanese ambassador appreciated the development projects and public welfare initiatives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The Japanese ambassador also appreciated the advancement of the public welfare agenda of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
