DPM/FM Dar directs timely assistance to Pakistani victims of boat tragedy in Morocco

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday chaired a meeting to review the resettlement of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan in a third country, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which was attended by Foreign Secretary, Interior Secretary and other officials. The Foreign Minister reviewed the issue of transferring Afghan refugees to third countries.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar issued instructions for coordination of the government’s response and asked the ministries of foreign affairs and interior to ensure the provision of efficient and timely assistance to the Pakistani victims of Moroccan boat tragedy.
The meeting also reviewed in detail the boat tragedy off the coast of Morocco leading to several deaths. The secretaries of the ministries of foreign affairs, interior and other officials attended the meeting.
