A fault in the global submarine cable affected the internet service in some areas of Pakistan

According to PTA, global submarine cable SMW4 has a fault.

It added: “The fault can cause slow down internet service during peak hours. Teams are on to fixing it. 

"The PTA is monitoring the situation till internet broadband service is restored."
