Pakistani showbiz couple Mohammad Ahmed and Shamim Hilaly appeared at the Fuchsia show hosted by Rabia Mughni and talked about the difference between marriages today and the old times.

Mohammad Ahmed shared that the negative thing in marriages today is that the divorce rate is really high and he said that couples today do not want to compromise on anything.

They also do not give each other time to understand and adjust. He also blamed television for normalizing divorces that you can just get divorced one day and marry someone else the other day which does not happen in reality.

Moreover, they said that the positive thing in today’s love marriages which was not in their time as that time marriages were arranged mostly, so now it’s good that a girl and a boy have time to understand each other before marriage when they go for hangouts and spent time together they have an opportunity to know about each other and friendship also helps a lot after marriage.

Talking about the demands of the young generation now, they appreciated that men nowadays demand ‘Jahez’ less as they know their partner is educated, confident, and financially independent whereas girls have demands now that men should be stable and should be much more capable of fulfilling all their demands and expenses.

They also talked about the importance of getting married. Both the stars said that people think that they do not need anyone in their life and they will always be young but things change when you turn 45 and you want to have a life partner then. 

They have both been working for years and they are known for their intelligence and brilliant performances. Both the stars have successful marriages in real life and now they are grandparents and still very content in their married lives.
