LHC constitutes larger bench to hear PTI applications on Jan 24

Lahore High Court (LHC) has constituted larger bench to hear applications of PTI founder Imran Khan and PTI on January 24, 2025, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

LHC Registrar Office has issued the cause lists. Justice Sham Mehmood Mirza-led five members bench will hear the applications. The other judges include Justice Shahid Kareem, Justice Shahzad Sarwar, Justice Jawad Hassan and Justice Risal Hassan Syed. 

PTI founder Imran Khan and PTI had moved LHC seeking justice for removing Imran Khan from PTI chairmanship, disqualification from NA-95 constituency, withdrawal of bat symbol from PTI and against ECP decisions on its intra-party elections. The petitions have been filed by PTI founder and PTI secretary General, among others. Lawyers of Federal Government, Election Commission of Pakistan and PTI will appear before the larger bench on January 25.
