PIA leaves another passenger in the lurch

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) issued a ticket on an unusable seat to a business-class passenger on a Paris to Islamabad flight on February 7.

According to details, a passenger embarked on PIA flight PK-750 from Paris to Islamabad along with his family. He had purchased business-class tickets, five in total. However, the administration issued one of the tickets whose seat was unusable.

When the PIA staff was reported about the inconvenience, it told the complainant to “adjust for now,” assuring that the anomaly has been emailed to PIA authorities in Islamabad. Javed Butt was assured that he would be refunded the money against his complaint upon arrival at Islamabad Airport.

However, upon arriving at Islamabad Airport when Mr Butt contacted the PIA authorities, they told the passenger that they had received no such email, adding that both the crew and the administration of PIA in Paris are responsible for this criminal negligence.
