Two wanted dacoits killed in police encounters in Kashmore, Sadiqabad

One dacoit, who was later identified as Nazar Golu and was wanted by the police in connection with incidents of dacoity, kidnappings for ransom, extortion and other crimes, was killed while his two accomplices were seriously injured in an encounter with the police on the Indus Highway near Kashmore on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Quoting its sources, the channel reported that the dacoits were standing on the highway to loot people when they were spotted by the police.
This led to an exchange of fire between the two, they said, adding that the area had been cordoned off and the manhunt had been launched for the arrest of the injured dacoits, who managed to flee from the spot.
Sources informed that a Kalashnikov rifle and a motorcycle had been recovered from them as well.
SSP Kashmore Naz said that the police had shifted the body of the dacoit to a hospital.
Bashir alias Bishu Shar, a dacoit belonging to Andher Gang, who was wanted by the police in connection with the killings of four persons, police personnel, murder and kidnappings for ransom, was killed reportedly in an encounter with the police in the katcha area near Sadiqabad.
Police said that a Kalashnikov and scores of bullets were also recovered from his possession.
