Lahore again becomes world’s most polluted city

Lahore on Sunday once again gained top position as the most polluted city in the world, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 506 percent, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the morning, the Air Quality Index at Askari Ten was touched to 629, US Consulate 609, while in the evening pollution percentage in Khayaban-e-Iqbal was 467, Ghazi Road Interchange 286 percent, Valencia Town 285, Adda Plat Raiwind Road 265 percent.
Pollution level was record 268 in Askari Ten, Simla Pahari 255, and UCP 254 points.
Health experts advised citizens to adopt precautionary measures to avoid any health issues.
