Lahore and Karachi rank 8th among most polluted cities in world

Lahore and Karachi ranked eighth in the list of polluted cities after significant reductions in air pollution, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the Metrological Department, the Air Quality Index (AQI) rate was recorded at 118 in Lahore.
On the other hand, fog tents in the Lahore city and roads blurred due to reduced visibility.
The current temperature was recorded at eight degrees Celsius with cloudy weather.
Maximum 18 and minimum 7 degrees Celsius are likely in Lahore, while in Karachi, 14 degrees Celsius was recorded and a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius is likely.
The humidity ratio in Lahore is 96 percent, while in Karachi 37 percent is recorded.
Winds continued to blow at a speed of five kilometres per hour.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, ten percent rain is expected in the Lahore city today, and there is a possibility of rain in the coming week as well.
