PM Shehbaz briefs Nawaz about progress on talks with PTI

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday held a meeting with Nawaz Sharif, his elder brother and president of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), at Jati Umrah.

On this occasion, Shehbaz briefed Nawaz, three times former prime minister of Pakistan, about the ongoing talks with the main opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The two leaders discussed PTI’s demands, which were submitted to the government a few days ago. In addition to the meetings with the government’s negotiations committee, PTI’s meetings with other stakeholders also came under discussion at the meeting. 

Different political issues came under discussion at the meeting, which continued for two hours. During the meeting, Shehbaz took guidelines from the elder Sharif on various issues. 

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was also present at the meeting.
