The Supreme Court (SC) of Saudi Arabia appealed to locals and foreigners staying in the country to see the crescent of the Holy Month of Ramadan on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the SC of Saudi Arabia asked all citizens to testify about moonsighting if they observe on Tuesday evening as it is the 29th of Shaban according to the Ummal Qura (Islami) Calendar.

The Saudi Supreme Court has said that the local committees of moonsighting should try to observe the moon in the observatories.

The Supreme Court has said that the 1st of Shaban was on February 21, according to which Tuesday, March 21 will be considered as the 29th of Sha'ban.

On this basis and following the Sunnah, it is requested moonsighting on Tuesday, the court suggested.

The Supreme Court said that whoever saw the moon on the said day should register his testimony in the nearest court.
