An uncle of a 7-year-old girl raped and killed her in the vicinity of Ferozwala police station in Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to police, the family of 7-year-old Breeha registered a complaint that their daughter was kidnapped. They said that she went outside to buy something from the bazar but did not return. 

However, police found the body of the girl in a sewer.  

Police took the body into their custody and started an investigation.

Through CCTV footage, they reached the culprit who turned out to be the husband of the murdered girl’s paternal aunt. The culprit could be seen taking the girl with him.

Police arrested the accused.

During the investigation, the uncle told that he took the girl to a factory where he raped her.

And after committing the vile act, he murdered the child and threw her body in a sewer, police said.
