Elections delay supplementary exams for intermediate students in Karachi

The Karachi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (KBISE) has announced that the supplementary examinations for intermediate part I, scheduled for February 6, 2024, have been postponed due to the general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Friday.

The postponed papers will be held on February 12, 2024, at the same exam centers as previously assigned.

The postponement affects students of various groups, including science pre-medical, science general, home economics, commerce regular, commerce private, arts regular, arts private and special candidates. The papers that have been postponed are:

- Botany paper I (science pre-medical)

- Statistics paper I (science general and arts regular)

- Biology and bacteriology paper (home economics)

- Principal of commerce paper I (commerce regular and private)

- Sociology paper I (arts regular and private)

- Nursing paper I and outlines of home economics paper I (special candidates)

The KBISE has advised the students to check the revised date sheet on its website and follow the instructions accordingly.
