PML-N fears tampering of NA-249 by-poll record

PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has asked the Election Commission of Pakistan to take the record of NA-249 by-election in its custody immediately.
According to 24News HD TV channel, Marriyum on Sunday expressed her doubt that if the ECP did not take the votes’ bags into its custody, there could be record tampering.

The PML-N spokesperson said the ECP should make sure that the votes bags were completely sealed.
The PML-N challenged the NA-249 Karachi by-election which the party lost to PPP on April 29 by a thin margin.

The PML-N had challenged the results of the election and demanded recounting. The ECP withheld the result of the election.
