Gepco defaulter attacks official’s house for disconnecting meter in Hafizabad

A defaulter of Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) has attacked the house of an official along with more than 20 gunmen for disconnecting his electricity connection in Hafizabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The accused bluntly started gun firing targeting the house of the GEPCO employee which caused chaos and panic among the residents of the area.

After firing, the accused managed to escape from the spot.

However, police registered a case against the accused and started searching them.

According to text of the FIR, the accused owed millions of rupees on which the connection of the accused was disconnected for non-payment of the bill.
