The federal government has decided to terminate the services of daily wage employees as part of its right-sizing policy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.

The Establishment Division issued an official notification stating that the services of these employees will be transferred to the Surplus Pool, effective from September 30, 2024.

According to the notification, daily wage workers have been informed that their services will no longer be required after this date.

Other ministries and divisions are expected to make independent decisions regarding their own daily wage employees.
