IGP signs summary for promotions of 670 Telecom & Transport Wing staff

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has taken an important step for departmental promotions and welfare of the personnel of Telecommunication and Transport Wing.
According to a handout, the top cop signed the summary of departmental promotions of 670 personnel of telecommunication and transport wing.
In a video message, the IGP said around 350 officials have been promoted while the promotion board meeting will be held soon after approving the summary for promotions of 650 officials.
Usman Anwar said the Telecommunication Wing is a very important department and all the resources are being used to equip the wing with latest equipment to ensure better public service delivery.
DIG Telecommunication Imran Ahmar that the control centers of telecommunication in the district and police stations are being fully digitized.
He said that the telecommunication operators are providing full support to the district police with digital tracker system and modern softwares and good performance will be continued.
