The Lahore district administration has sprung into action following the directives of Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi.
The head of civic bodies paid visits to bus stands to ensure cleanliness and measures to rein in profiteers.
They interacted with the people to redress their grievances.
They took rounds of waiting areas and public washrooms to keep these structures neat and clean to stem the spread of health hazards.
A fine of up to Rs100,000 has been imposed today for sitting on rooftops or other complaints.
