Heart patients in the lurch after Shahbaz Gill’s admission to PIMS

The patients at PIMS Hospital, Islamabad are facing numerous problems following the admission of a political personality – Shahbaz Gill – to the medical facility, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to 24News, the hospital administration has vacated the entire Cardiac Ward due to security reasons. As a result, the PIMS patients and their relatives are facing great problems.
PTI leader Gill who is facing sedition charges is in the Cardiac Ward of the hospital and a strict security cover has been thrown around him.
Teams of doctors swarmed the ward since early morning and ran his medical tests.
A man who brought his mother to the hospital for treatment rued that only for one man, the administration put all the patients in trouble. He alleged that the heart patients were also not being treated here.
“My mother suffered a heart attack and I brought her here. But there is no space in the ward,” the man said adding that due to great rush at the hospital, he was thinking to take his mother to some private hospital.
