To participate in the Pakistan Super League-Seven (PSL-7), main franchise teams have reached Karachi and entered into the bio-secure bubble on Thursday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, players of the franchise teams including Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United reached the hotel.

Entry of the players of franchise teams in the bio-secure bubble has been started. All players and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the hotel staff will have to spend three days in quarantine.

As per the report, foreign cricket players of franchise teams will arrive in Karachi from tomorrow. Corona tests of the players and the PSL-7 staff will also be continued.

The report said the Sindh Health Department staff will also stay at the hotel to facilitate the players. Franchise teams are allowed to start their net practice from January 24.

Pertinent to mention here that after Lahore, 10 per cent of employees of the PCB Karachi including the staff of National Stadium have also contracted coronavirus.

The PCB administration has isolated the infected staff immediately. The PCB Karachi employees' corona tests were taken two days ago.
