Crackdown against FIA officers begins

A crackdown has begun against Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officers as a departmental action was initiated by filing charge sheets against three officers posted at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to report, these officers included Deputy Director Ali Murad and Assistant Directors Rashid Bhatti and Wasiullah.
Further investigation was ordered during the posting of these officers at the airport.
A three-member team has also been formed for the investigation and Additional Director General North Cyber Crime Mujahid Akbar will head the team.
Director Admin FIA Shakeel Ahmed and Director FIA Karachi Muhammad Noman are part of the team.
Deputy Director Mian Rab Nawaz has been appointed as a representative to keep abreast of the progress of the case.
