Cloth worth millions destroyed as fire sweeps Faisalabad looms factory

Cloth worth millions of rupees was reduced to ashes when a massive fire swept through a looms factory in Faisalabad on Monday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to fire-brigade personnel, the blaze was caused by an electricity short-circuit in Shamsabad area of Faisalabad.

The fire-fighters managed to bring the fire under control after an operation which lasted for several hours.

No loss of life or injured was reported in the incident.

Hut destroyed in Kandiaro fire

A fire destroyed a hut in Alamabad area of Kandiaro late Sunday night.

The blaze which erupted suddenly destroyed all the clothes, beddings, food items and girls’ dowries.

The affectees spent the whole night in the open. They appealed the high-ups to extend some help to them.
