Turkish FM calls on COAS Gen Asim Munir

His Excellency Hakan Fidan, Turkish Foreign Minister, paid a visit to Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR on Monday morning, during the meeting matters of mutual interest came under discussion.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, founded on a historic, cultural, and religious bonds, the ISPR statement said.

The visiting dignitary commended the Pakistan Army's role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
