New tussle between Punjab and centre starts on CCPO Lahore’s transfer

A new tussle between Punjab and the federal government has started for the transfer of the sitting Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore.
The 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday that the governments of Punjab province and centre have come face to face over the issue.
 According to the report, CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has been ordered to report to the Federal Establishment Division.
But Punjab Interior Minister Hashim Dogar halted him to go to the centre and said that Ghulam Mehmood Dogar will continue to work as CCPO Lahore
Punjab Interior Minister Hashim Dogar further stated that CCPO will not report to the Establishment Division on the orders of the transfer.
