Topnotch Japanese actress and singer Sayaka Kanda has died after falling from a height at a hotel in the country’s northern Hokkaido Island, as the celebrated star was famous for her voiceover of the famous character Anna in the Japanese dubbed version of Disney's animated film "Frozen".

According to international media, the 35-year-old actress was staying on the 14th story of the 22-floor hotel in Sapporo, the capital of the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, where the accident took place.

According to Japanese media, actress Sayaka Kanda was found unconscious outside the hotel. It is said that Sayaka's room was on the 14th floor of the hotel and she fell from there.

The actress was rushed to the hospital but could not survive. Meanwhile, Sayaka's agency has confirmed the death of the actress.

Police are investigating the case as a possible suicide. While the actress' friends are of the view that Sayaka cannot commit suicide.

It should be noted that actress and singer has been associated with the world of showbiz since she was almost 20 years old.

It is relevant to mention here that the actress once tied the knot with fellow actor Mitsu Murata in 2017, but their marriage did not last for long and the couple opted for divorce after two years.
