Renowned actor Afzal Khan, better known as Jan Rambo, has spoken out about the ongoing family controversy involving his wife, Sahiba, and her mother Nisho, a veteran actress.

The feud came to light following Sahiba’s emotional reunion with her father after 42 years, which reportedly led to a rift with her mother.

Nisho publicly criticised Sahiba for not visiting her in over eight months, igniting speculations and debate on social media.

Jan Rambo demonstrated his dedication to preserving family bonds, reminding fans of empathy and patience in resolving personal conflicts. He defended his wife, calling the public airing personal grievances ‘unnecessary and damaging’.

Family matters should stay within the family, he said, adding that this public drama only worsens misunderstandings.

The actor expressed his disappointment with Nisho’s decision to bring private issues into the spotlight, urging respect for personal boundaries.

"It is not okay to discuss personal matters on social media; it is not the right platform."

The reunion with her father was deeply emotional, and, unfortunately, such a joyous moment has been overshadowed by controversy, he added.

The rift has sparked conversations about family dynamics, the complexities of reconciliation, and the toll public scrutiny takes on personal lives.

However, Jan Rambo hoped that the differences would be ironed out, saying: "Everything will be fine; these misunderstandings will soon go away.

"I have plans to reunite Sahiba and Nisho, but Sahiba is very stubborn, especially in this regard.

"I am not talking to her about this now; I’m waiting for the right time," he shared.

Jan Rambo also addressed a viral video featuring him and his father-in-law, explaining that it was an emotional moment captured with his permission.

"They were just our family’s emotional moments. I took permission from him to post his picture on social media, and he agreed.

"Sahiba then suggested, ‘Why don’t you do the video then?’ I edited and shared those memorable moments with fans. While the airport video was planned, the other one wasn’t. Many people told me they cried watching it," he said.

"He stayed for about 10 days, and we are still in contact with him. I received many prayers for making this reunion possible," Rambo said, highlighting the positive outcome of the visit.
