Karachi girl takes parents to police for shaving her head

Karachi’s Quaidabad Police Station has registered an FIR against the parents of a 22 years old girl on the complaint of their own daughter.

According to the FIR, the girl wanted to marry a many of another faith, but her parents did not allow her. When she insisted on marrying the man of her choice, her parents shaved her head with a razor.

According to the Malir SSP, the girl, who works as nurse at Dow University, wanted to marry a Christian man, but her parents did not approve her decision. The girl has named her father Niaz Hussain, mother Salbia, uncle Karim and grandmother Zubaida in the FIR.
