Taylor Swift seems determined to dispel any notions that she is a "distraction" to her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as she returned to New York shortly after his victory against the Houston Texans, The Daily Mail reports.
The Chiefs’ star tight end has faced criticism for his slower-than-usual start to the NFL season, with some pundits attributing his performance to his whirlwind romance and off-season travels with the Grammy-winning singer.
The 35-year-old couple spent much of the summer together, with Kelce joining Swift on her global Eras Tour. However, Swift appears more mindful now of giving her boyfriend space to focus on his next major AFC clash against the Buffalo Bills on January 26. A win in that game would secure the Chiefs another trip to the Super Bowl.
While Swift is expected to return to Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Kelce during the crucial game, she quickly flew back to New York on Monday after spending just over a day with him.
The Daily Mail captured photos of Swift and her entourage departing from a private airport in New Jersey on Monday afternoon before heading to her Manhattan residence.
