Produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, Muqaddar has a strong storyline and brilliant direction that has managed to keep viewers hooked during the entirety of its run.

In the latest episode, we see that Haris and Maham have gotten married. Abeera and Saad are beginning to come closer. Hasan is preparing to leave the country.

On the face of it, things are changing and changing fast. The knot is untying itself. Or so it seems.

Things appear to be moving towards an understandable conclusion. However, beneath the surface, a storm is brewing. Haris and Maham’s marriage is off to a rocky start. Neither Haris nor his family is truly over Raima. On the night of the wedding, as he gifts his wife a ring, Haris recalls his moments with Raima.

This makes Maham’s task all the more difficult. This is something she cannot do much about. However, she sets off in the wrong direction too. She wants to go for a honeymoon and suggests that they go on her father’s money. This irks Haris.

To make matters worse, she talks harshly about her new mother in law too. For a newly-wed couple, this might be a small argument. But in the grand scheme of things, this does seem like the beginning of a challenging relationship.

On the other hand, Hasan tries to win back the trust of Abeera. He had almost succeeded if it weren’t for Abeera’s mother. By the use of force and a life threat, Hasan seemingly is forced to leave Pakistan.

Abeera, in anger and unaware of the situation, tries to mend ties with Saad. However, despite Abeera’s open admission about her past, Saad does appear a bit weary. Another relationship which isn’t off to the best of starts.

In what is an already complicated situation, even the new relationships aren’t rock solid.

Things at the moment seem murky. At some point, this mist of deception and lies will rise, and then who knows where things go.

As for now, we have to sit tight and wait for things to unravel. It will be most interesting to see what twist the story takes next. Will the people scheming and plotting get their due?
