Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has congratulated PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on his release from jail.
In a telephonic conversation on Saturday, the PML-Q leader spoke to the PML-N’s central leader who was recently released from the prison along with his brother Khawaja Salman Rafiq.
Shortly after being granted bail from the Supreme Court in the Paragon Housing scam, senior Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique were released from jail on Thursday.
On Tuesday, the apex court had approved the bail of the PML-N leaders in a corruption reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
