Two under custody robbers killed in firing 

Two under custody robbers were allegedly killed in firing of accomplices while being taken for spotting and recovering looted valuables.

Police said that it was taking two under custody robbers for recovery of looted valuables when their accomplices attacked the police party near Basti Naseemabad at Luddan Road, Vehari.

Both robbers identified as Sajid alias Sajhi s/o Khan Muhammad and Saleem s/o Muhammad Yar were killed in firing. The attackers fled the scene after retaliatory firing of police.

Police said that the killed robbers arrested a couple of days earlier were involved in robberies, murder and receiving extortion.
