Police in Lahore arrest seminary teacher for torturing young student

Teacher at a seminary in Lahore mercilessly beat up a student for taking a day off on a rainy day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

13-year-old Anas, who studied at a seminary near Millat Park, took a day off due to rain.

This infuriated his teacher Qari Shoaib who beat him with rods, smashed his head on the floor, and when he found out that the child had been seriously wounded, he locked him in a room.

The boy was taken to a hospital in a critical condition. Police, on the other hand, have arrested the teacher.
