Two terrorists were killed in an operation by the security forces in Sanzala Pahari area of Pishin district in Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

As per the statement given by Deputy Commissioner Pishin Jumma Dad Mandokhel, several terrorists were also wounded in the operation.

He further said those killed and injured were wanted by the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) in connection with the killing of a Levies Risaldar Hameedullah.

It is important to note that the incidents of terrorism are on the rise in the country for more than one year.

Three weeks ago, a Levies official was killed and three other personnel of the Force were seriously injured after the militants opened fire at the security forces in Pishin district of Balochistan.

“Risaldar Hameedullah died instantly while three other personnel of the Levies received bullet shots during an operation carried out against militants in Kili Manzari area of Pishin district’s Harmazai tehsil, Deputy Commissioner Juma Dad Mandokhail said.

He explained that the operation was launched, on a tip-off against Dad Mohammad who along with other accomplices was hiding in a house near Inayatullah Khan Pump.

“Instead, of surrendering to the LEAs, the terrorists opened fire at them. As a result, Levy Risaldar died on the spot and three personnel suffered bullet shots,” the DC elaborated.

Soon after the incident, more contingent of LEAs were called to launch a combing operation against the fleeing terrorists. The area has been cordoned off.

“Five facilitators and 10 suspects have been arrested so far,” the DC said. The three injured Levies personnel have been shifted to the Trauma Centre.
