Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Atta Tarar said Monday while talking to media outside Islamabad High Court (IHC) that Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was a wind-up toy, adding that the entire administration of Punjab sprang into action with one signal from Imran Khan—former prime minister and the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to the news broadcasted by 24NewsHD TV channel, the SAPM said that Imran Khan was holding unsuccessful rallies. “The people have rejected the anti-army narrative.”
He deplored that Pervaiz Elahi was not worried about the flood victims, alleging that Imran Khan wanted a civil war in the country.
He censured that Imran Khan threatened the Islamabad police chief and a lady judge. “They enjoy the police protocol, and at the same time they insult police.”
He also said that Imran Niazi should be ashamed of himself. “File as many cases against us as you can bear yourself. The Punjab government is a guest for a few days.”
He stated, “After the registration of a case against Shahbaz Gill, they [the Punjab government] are registering cases against us for revenge. We have decided to go Lahore and join investigations.”
