The 22-year-old Muslim girl, Nor Diana from Malaysia, made history to become the first hijab-wearing professional wrestler in the world.
The Malaysian girl started her wrestling at the young age of 14 and with her hard work and struggle to achieve her goals and dreams she broke all the barriers in the sports world.
In 2019 she faced off against four guys and won the Malaysia Pro Wrestling Wrestlecon Championship.
She is known by her name “The Phoenix,” which represents her never-ending determination to be the best version of herself and to win repeatedly.
She faced many obstacles throughout her wrestling journey but she didn’t give up even though wrestling might be challenging at times.
Diana’s love for wrestling never ended and she was always thankful to all her coaches, supporters, and admirers all across the world.
